Different Classes of Hawaii Condos and Hawaii Hotels

Hawaii Connection offers deluxe, superior and moderate properties as well as a few budget properties. We encourage you to always book moderate or better, but we know at times the budget property may be appropriate for your individual needs.

• The Deluxe Hawaii Condos and Deluxe Hawaii Hotels are the best that Hawaii has to offer. These properties are all generally renovated, upscale and feature modern, updated amenities and furnishings.
• The Superior Hawaii Condos and Superior Hawaii Hotels are mid-range properties that offer quality accommodations. While the furnishings are not as high quality as the deluxe properties, they are all well-maintained and do offer a quality experience. Most of our properties generally fit into this category and since 1978, our guests have been happy with these accomodations
• The Moderate Hawaii Condos and Moderate Hawaii Hotels offer standard funrnishings and amenities. These properties are all well-maintained and offer a great value for the money spent.
• The Budget Hawaii Condos and Budget Hawaii Hotels are properties that have bare basic furnishings, amenities and guest services. For most guests, we recommend booking moderate or better as they understand when they book a budget hotel, all that they will be receiving is a place to sleep without any amenities.

What Class of Hotels and Condos are offered in each area?

Here is a general guideline to the classes of accomodations offered in each area:

• Waikiki, Oahu:
  • The Waikiki condos and Waikiki Hotels are offered in all classes from deluxe to moderate with a few budget as well.
• Maui:
  • The Kaanapali condos are offered in the deluxe, superior and moderate categories. The Kaanapali hotels are all deluxe.
  • The Kihei condos are most either moderate or superior with a few that are deluxe. There are only two Kihei hotels with one being moderate and one superior.
  • The Wailea condos and Wailea Hotels are generally deluxe with some superior properties.
• Kauai:
  • The Kapaa condos and Kapaa hotels are offered in the superior and moderate categories with a few being deluxe.
  • The Poipu condos are mostly either superior or deluxe while the Poipu Hotels are all deluxe.
  • There are just a few Princeville condos and they are either moderate or deluxe with none being superior.
• Big Island of Hawaii
  • The Kona condos and Kona hotels are offered in the superior and moderate categories with none being deluxe. The hotels are all superior.
  • The Waikoloa and Mauna Lani condos are mostly either deluxe or superior while all of the hotels are deluxe.
  • The Hilo hotel that we offer is moderate.
