The Aston Waikiki Sunset is an excellent and popular renovated condominium located one block from the beach in Waikiki. This property has an attractive lobby area and the complex amenities include a pool, sauna, tennis court, sundry store, BBQ area, travel desk, game room, hospitality room, internet kiosk, free Wi-Fi service on the 6th floor, 24 hour security and central laundry facilities. All of the one and two bedroom refurbished units are nicely decorated and include a full kitchen, microwave, coffee-maker, rice cooker, central air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, high-speed internet access, iron/ironing board, hair dryer and a lanai (except 2 bedroom penthouse units). All units have 2 TV's and are non-smoking. Aston Waikiki Sunset is a good choice for couples and families wanting superior accommodations in Waikiki. Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo are within walking distance and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The International Marketplace is 6 blocks away.

I have visited the Aston Waikiki Sunset many times in my 23+ years with my company. The property does an excellent job of maintaining the rooms & public areas and I really love the fact that the Aston Waikiki Sunset is just a short walk to almost anything you would want to get to in Waikiki. The front desk at the property does a wonderful job of making the check-in procedure smooth for guests so that they can start enjoying their vacation on Oahu. The travel/activity desk on-site is terrific for helping guests with island activities or restaurant reservations.

For guests wishing to venture out on the island of Oahu, there is more than famous Waikiki Beach on Oahu. The north shore of Oahu offers a much more relaxed, island atmosphere than Waikiki and is a 1-hour drive north of the Honolulu/Waikiki area. On the way up to the north shore, be sure to stop at the Dole Plantation and experience local pineapples. The town of Haleiwa offers an old-Hawaii feel with its' quaint shops and eateries. There are many local tours offered in and around the Waikiki area including in Honolulu at Pearl Harbor and other historic sites. The Ala Moana Shopping Center near Waikiki offers over 200 shops & restaurants. Honolulu and the Waikiki area are world-famous for its' many restaurants and shopping options. Whatever cuisine you are looking for, you will be able to find it in and around the Honolulu/Waikiki area. Haunama Bay, about a 20-minute drive from Waikiki, is another popular attraction for visiting guests. The public transportation system in Waikiki called "The Bus" is an inexpensive way to explore the local area and attractions. If hiking is your thing, explore the famous Diamond Head Crater as it offers phenomenal views of the Waikiki and Honolulu areas from the top of the crater.
